Operations Manager & ERP Product/Process Owner (100%)

in our Services Center in ​Moreira da Maia in Portugal.

In this newly created role, you have the unique opportunity to combine your experience in operations management, business analysis, project management, and management consulting on a mission to implement HeiQ's new global ERP (Odoo) and create the highest level of efficiency possible within our organisation.
Your responsibilities
  • Initially in a key project role in implementing our new ERP...
    • Providing agile project leadership, determining how project phases are run, ensuring that the entire team understands the methodology and their roles and responsibilities in delivering.
    • In collaboration with business stakeholders, translating business requirements into crystal clear user stories, mapping processes (BPM of Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Supply Chain Planning & Manufacturing), defining KPI and data model.
    • Grooming & prioritising the product backlog, setting sprint  goals, and ensuring that all work required to take customer-usable releases from concept to deployment is considered.
    • Aligning stakeholder expectations with the team’s capacity and confidence in delivering in terms of timeline and scope.
    • Driving the Review & Retrospective meetings for the scrum team and ensure that the learnings are implemented as part of continuous improvements.
    • Onboarding new users and teams, providing system training, promoting the new ways-of-working, and facilitating change management through coaching leaders and teams across the globe.

    • Working across our business at micro and macro level, breaking down silos between different departments and identifying the most vital strategies and tools for efficiency and accountability and ultimately drive revenue growth and cost efficiency.
    • Ensuring global compliance with processes & data quality standards related to product management, procurement, production, logistics, or testing services.
    • Providing cross-functional business analysis, developing cost-saving strategies, supporting business with implementation, and measuring performance.
    • Building scalable models in a cost-effective way, making sound recommendations on implementation of new tools, technologies, best practices and organisational structures.
    • Supporting all financial matters, including budget development, planning & reporting related to supply chain.
    • Driving process digitalisation & automation through continuous improvement of our core business systems.
    • Bringing the practices, content, information, and tools to our supply chain processes to help procure, produce, and deliver more efficiently and effectively.
    • Enabling integration of new M&A targets or divestments of local entities.
You are
  • With at least 5 years of practical experience.
  • A relentless go-getter.

  • Very structured and diligent yet pragmatic and result-driven.
  • An authentic team player, demanding of yourself and leading by example.
  • With great interpersonal and communication skills and comfort advising senior-level management.
  • Fully professionally proficient in English (mandatory for all employees working at HeiQ - additional languages are advantageous).
You bring
  • A Bachelor or Master in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Technology Management, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing best-in-class end-to-end finance processes in the context of a multi company ERP, ideally with Odoo. 
  • Practical experience working in, both, operations/controlling in industry and management consulting at a top tier consulting firm.
  • Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills to evaluate complex processes and financial scenarios.
  • Experience managing business & technology projects, preferably agile and PMI certified.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Experience working in multi-geography and virtual environments.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing startup or scale-up is a plus.
